Car Window Replacement
It is our hope that every time someone gives us a call with regards to this particular service they saw their window broken over some form of accident that did not involve a robbery or a car crash. Whatever the case may be though, we can help get your window repaired as quickly as possible. We also provide some complementary services with this type of job that you are probably not going to get from other companies and that are actually going to help you feel a lot safer when getting back in your car!
Inspecting The Damages
As we mentioned there are a lot of different reasons why windows end up breaking. When we come in to replace a broken window we are going to want to go through all of the damages that may have been caused by the window breaking or may have caused the window to break. It is important to know that difference otherwise we may just be putting in a new window that is going to break in the next couple of months. Of course, that is not something that we want to have happen to our windows!
Removing Any Leftover Pieces
When these windows break they, at times will leave certain fractions left hanging from the frame of the window. These leftover pieces are of no use to us. What we will do is carefully go in and remove pretty much any trace of the old window that may remain in the frame so that we can then start setting in the new window. What we will also do is provide a vacuuming service to the area to make sure that there are no leftover pieces on the floor that could potentially bring some injuries to people who will sit in the car.
Replacing A Door Panel
At times when these windows break they just shatter completely. This can cause damages to other areas of the car. When we are talking about side windows in a vehicle one of the things that is usually damaged is the door panel. We can also take a look at other damaged areas in the car and make sure that A, there are no broken pieces everywhere, and B obviously removing anything that we see may also be broken due to the accident.
Placing It & Making Sure That It Works
Pretty much the most important part of the job is placing the window and actually making sure that it is fully functional before we leave. At times as we said when talking about the door panel, it is not only until you actually get to replacing the window that you realize that other areas of the vehicle may be damaged because of what broke the window in the first place. We can help fix minor electrical issues that may have popped up as a result of the window shattering. We won’t leave until you have a fully functional window in your car yet again!
